Prioritizing Mental Health: Supporting Young Professionals with Disabilities
- Sep 17, 2025
- 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT
Overview
Younger workers make up one of the fastest-growing proportions of the U.S. workforce. As many employers know, these young professionals, ages 18–29, value their mental health and well-being and seek a supportive workplace with access to mental health services.
Employers who strive to cultivate a dynamic and resilient workforce benefit from offering a work environment that meets young people’s needs. This session will explore research-based approaches to creating a mental health-friendly work environment that supports all young professionals, including those with disabilities. Employers who embrace these practices will not only attract and retain new talent, but also build a culture of mental wellness, professional growth, and long-term retention of all employees.
Join the Office of Disability Employment Policy’s (ODEP) Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability (EARN) and a special guest from ODEP’s Center for Advancing Policy on Employment for Youth (CAPE-Youth) for a free, informative webinar on supporting mental health in your workplace.
You will learn to:
